Lovely Pastels

There is no better way to lighten your wardrobe with these delicate colors: blush pink, tranquil blue hues, mint green, lemon, light orange, lilac. From the clothes to the shoes and bags, we will see lots of soft hues during this spring summer season.

Here are some tips and tricks for a stylish look for office, casual outings or even formal evenings:

Pastels 1

  1. Pastel on pastel

Wearing two or more pastel colors combinations will give you a fresh classy look. All you need to know is how to match the colors. For a fancy look add some minimal metallic accessories.

  1. Soft Neutral Separates

These romantic shades look best paired with soft neutral separates – white, black, grey, beige, ivory. Think of the perfect balance, as you can mix baby blue with grey tones.

You can never go wrong wearing black or white separates with pastels. You can either wear pastel bottoms with white or black top and complete the look with a pair of cool shoes. Just imagine soft green and white or blush pink and white.

  1. Monochrome

You can always create a gorgeous look by picking a single pastel shade for entire outfit. This will elongate your silhouette.

  1. Pretty prints

What’s better than combining some pretty prints with soft hues? For example, a pastel floral dress with sandals/platforms. You will obtain a delicate outfit. Be careful though and avoid wearing floral dresses if your figure is not slim, as you risk to emphasise the areas you have to hide.

You can also pair your solid pastels with prints from the same color family.

  1. Pair similar colors

Try pairing similar colors in your outfit – your pastel piece with an item in a deeper shade – you’ll add a pop of color without appearing over-the-top. Combine baby blue shirt with a slightly darker blazer to create a spring look with personality!
